Bliss Expo
On January 17th, I had the pleasure of covering Love Wins Texas Weddings – Bliss Expo. Love Wins Texas Weddings is one of the publications under SagaCity Media along with Houstonia Magazine. The Bliss Expo was very exquisite, for it embraced the importance of marriage equality. The expo took place at the industrial chic Astorian. During the expo a live musical ensemble played as we mingled with vendors. Among the vendors were David Alcorta Catering with his delicious desserts. He served chocolate mocha cake pops, Italian cream cupcakes with coconut, pecans and cream cheese frosting and my favorite sugar pecan cookies with dulce de leche filling. Mezlan was also here showcasing their handcrafted and very suave loafers. Oda Creative with their luxury bespoke invitations. Also at the expo was First Class Staffing Services, the classy choice for attendant services. Throughout the night we were given creative cocktails like “Something Blue” a Texas Whiskey with fresh blueberries and “First Kiss” a lip tingling Dulce Vida tequila margarita all curated by Magnolia Bay Custom Bar Services and light bites by A Fare Extraordinaire. Next up was the bridal fashion show featuring pieces from Bravo Suits & Tux, The Ivy League, Mezlan, Miles David and Unbridaled. The sequin shimmered dresses and suit jackets were my favorite. Lastly, everyone participated in a charity raffle with the proceeds going to Legacy Community Health. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to more events this month’s issue of Love Wins Texas Weddings. There are pictures down below and be sure to comment and subscribe if you like.
